Sleepy Hollow Cemetery

Two places you will be hard pressed to find me at is a hospital or a cemetery!
This story starts on this date in 1832, November 29th, when Louisa May Alcott was born in Philadelphia.  She was probably best known for her book "Little Women."  During her life she encouraged a sculptor by the name of Daniel Chester French, whose best known work is a sculpture of President Lincoln seated at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC.  He was commissioned by Ralph Waldo Emerson to do a piece known as "The Minute Man."  Of course Ralph Waldo Emerson was considered to have led the Transcendentalist movement of the mid-19th century, and was a champion of individualism.
Come to find out in Concord, MA, in the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, along the northeast ridge, is what is called 'Author's Ridge.'  Buried there along with their families members are Louisa May Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Henry David Thoreau, and sculptor Daniel Chester French.  What a distinguished collection!
I was just blown away when I read of those who were buried so close together in the same area.  As an aspiring author and interested in things of a literary nature it found it very interesting, enough so that I thought I should share it with my many friends.
I had found two pictures to add to the post, one of the entrence gates to the cemetery, and one of Henry David Thoreau's Grave that the headstone just reads 'Henry', which is soo Perfect!  They were copyrighted pictures and I couldn't figure out how to insert them into the posting.  I am such a computer boob at some things.  There was a day believe it or not back in the early eighties when I was building robots in my gargage, get away from computers for just over ten years and you come off as an illiterate old person who doesn't understand the technology.

Contest Update   Germany 0   France 0  Great Britain is going to end up being the all time ruler!  Two days left.
