And that's the way it is.

November 4, 1916
The birth of Walter Cronkite, referred to as the "Most trusted man in America."  A World War II correspondent, he was recruited by CBS in 1950, and covered the Kennedy Assassination, the Vietnam War, Watergate and the Space Race between the United States and Soviets.
(Please see my Earlier posts Highlights of Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and the Space Race, Parts 1 and 2)
Walter Cronkite was enamored with the Space Race.  When Apollo 11 took off he was saying, "Go baby, Go!"  He was on the air 27 of the thirty hours that Apollo 11 took to complete its lunar expedition.
During his time as a television newscaster he earned the respect of his fellow Americans.  He retired at 65 in 1981, and he died at the age of 92 in 2009.

I would also like to give a shout out for my newest Fan on Goodreads dot com.  Followers of my blog know him as I have mentioned him numerous times.  My best friend and Greatest Fan, Beta Reader extraordinaire, and the person who came up with the perfect title for my second novel, "No Rules Of Engagement", Mr. Phillip T. Woody!
As tribute to his insightful titling of my newest release, and second novel, the sequel starts with the heading "Not Titled Yet", until after Phillip reads the rough and I mean rough, first draft.  He will get the first opportunity to suggest a title for the book.  That is why there is no title given for the sequel at the end of the book, and why at this point I can't start talking it up and building the suspense for the sequel.  All I can do at this point is invite people to join the fun and excitement by reading the first book, "No Rules Of Engagement."
For the E-book  $4.99 US

Or for the paperback  $15.32 US

After two reviews it sits at a perfect five out of five, which personally I feel is overrated and certainly puts the pressure on for the sequel to measure up!  Really no room for improvement, all I can do is attempt to maintain the overly high standards set by my demanding readers.
Demanding Readers?  Since I have finished and released "No Rules Of Engagement" all I hear about is when is the next one coming out?  Rest assured I am working feverishly every night to further its completion, but readers have really no concept of the hours of work it takes to produce one polished, finished novel ready to be published that only takes a couple of days to read and enjoy!  I'm not complaining, for me its job security until at least this series is completed.
Thanks again Phillip Woody for your unwavering support, your continued harassment to get to work and keep writing to finish the book, and mostly for your time and friendship!
